iPhone Xs and cinema camera comparison

I don’t become as surprised as I used to, but still find these comparisons interesting. The difference isn’t very big.

What does it mean by cinema camera? One that is used for films?

iPhones are great for filming in places with natural or studio lighting! It is in low lighting environments where the difference in quality is most pronounced.

#1: Yes, it's a way to describe what it’s compared against without using the actual camera name and model, which most people wouldn’t know what it is anyway. In this case they compare it to a camera used for cinema films. The Canon EOS C200 Cinema Camera cost about 7,500 USD without a lens, so it's in a completely different price range than a phone.

#3 Oh boy that is expensive. I do understand now, I wouldn't have had a clue otherwise.

I should have written that in the first post. It doesnt make sense unless you understand that the comparison camera is supposed to be in a completely different league. 🙂
