Adobe Lightroom CC app

After reading Niklas' post regarding this app I just knew I had to try it for myself, here's what I made of it. 

Its free on the app store and acts a mini portable extension of Adobe Photoshop. You can upgrade to a premium membership for a particular fee that allows you to access photos and presets from across all your devices – mobile, desktop and web.

However, I don't currently have Photoshop on my desktop so this feature isn't very useful to me. Nevertheless, the app makes for a great stand-alone piece of editing software.  Moreover, it allows you to edit with the curve tool in Photoshop, so if you are experienced with it can make editing a whole lot easier, unfortunately, I am not so any tips are welcome. 

I found it works particularly well for water shots such as poolside, beach, lakes and ocean.  For example:
